When SD-WAN isn’t used, it causes the increase in cloud usage and hybrid deployments which may cause clogging of traditional networks. SD-WAN doesn’t require the addition of multiple more devices such as routers, WAN path controllers and firewalls. It also provides a wider bandwidth to the organization which is the intention of most organizations when they switch to SD-WAN.
