In the early days of digital transformation, experts told us transformation was about people, not products. That it would build on human-centric pillars like customer engagement, employee experience, improving what no longer works, and reinventing what does. Yet, too often, we focus on products alone. It’s led to a “launch and move on” mindset, short-term fixes, and siloed efforts. Technology plays a part, but the “we” is the key.
