Birdseye, the all-in-one marketing analytics system for Shopify brands, today announced a $500,000 pre-seed investment from Drive Capital. The investment will enable Birdseye to expand its core engineering team and continue developing artificial intelligence (AI) powered marketing technology.
Birdseye has developed a marketing recommendation system designed to help small and growing ecommerce businesses. Many small online retailers struggle with data-driven marketing, lack dedicated analytics teams, and miss out on valuable opportunities to increase sales. Birdseye is designed to change that.
“Our goal with Birdseye is to empower small business owners with the same analytics capabilities that are typically only available to large enterprises and expensive advertising agencies,” said Matt Bogoroch, CEO and co-founder of Birdseye. “With funding in place, Birdseye is well positioned to level the playing field for growing brands. Our goal is to become the leading ecommerce software for Shopify and ecommerce businesses.”
Birdseye helps brands automate their marketing efforts by identifying the most valuable products, ads, channels, and customer segments to focus on in real-time without the need for spreadsheets, manual analysis, or complicated reporting. Brands receive direct recommendations with implementation instructions. Using Birdseye, ecommerce businesses can predict the sales results of each potential marketing initiative, helping them to prioritize marketing and operational efforts and avoid costly mistakes. With Birdseye, businesses can reduce their dependence on agencies by empowering key stakeholders to understand the direction in which to take their business.
“We are entering the era where brands are focusing on how to best engage consumers at the most microscopic level. Birdseye is spearheading that movement in the advertising and ecommerce sectors with our artificial intelligence powered marketing platform,” said Shardul Frey, CTO and co-founder of Birdseye.
“The world continues to face economic uncertainties, which is why our team is dedicated to helping businesses improve sales, save money and avoid costly advertising mistakes,” said Adam Bogoroch, COO and co-founder of Birdseye. “Our software enables businesses to assess a product’s potential sales before launching a marketing campaign, ensuring that their advertising budget is being spent in the most effective way possible.”
